Doing art is suddenly extremely difficult and so I took a davekat break. The damn thing refused to cooperate, though, every time I tried to save it the attempt somehow backfired. Better luck next time, I guess.

Givin’ some quick sketchy lovin’ to few of the Zacharie headcanons I saw around, as well as mine.

So far I’ve seen people criticizing or even shaming other people for every Zacharie interpretation, be it bara, bishie, chubby, thin or even creepy. I’m so disappointed, guys. I understand it might be hard to embrace all the interpretations, but acting like a douche and shaming people for their headcanons just because they don’t fit your taste is not okay.

Some OFF pieces I’ve been poking at for quite a while. Tried to find a way of inking that would be most comfortable for me.

Anyone else was wondering what happened to add-ons when fighting badbatter? I was worried they’d be hell to fight, but they were gone… I think he might have eaten them.

Random prompt from a friend while I was sketching in the tearoom, Karkat in a sari. I thought why not, I adore saris and I believe they can make anyone look great, regardless of gender. They’re just so pretty.

The old picture of god tier Dave started circulating around and someone reglubbed it with “YES transparent Dave”. It made me laugh, I didn’t even know there was a demand for transparent Daves and in above mentioned case it was only the background that was transparent…

And then I made this silly simple transparent Dave. Unless I screwed up somewhere, his suit should always suit the background!

(fry, you son of a…yeah.) and liara wears sundresses and EDI still doesn’t understand joker’s obsession with having her apply sunscreen to his already adequately protected flesh. and steve doesn’t know how not to be working on something, so he’s fixing everyone’s mini-fridges or working on the local shuttles. and wrex shows up with bakara and about thirty little krogan kiddies and they all call shepard SHEPPUR and grunt gets jealous and insists on sleeping in shepard’s room every night

and shepard doesn’t know how to relax, doesn’t know what a vacation is. and shepard keeps wandering the halls, asking other guests if they need a missing credit chit found or any errands or something? room service? baggage check? and shepard burns easily under the sun and wears giant sunglasses and finally falls asleep in a hammock despite insisting ‘i’m commander shepard and i don’t take naps,’ and garrus slips by and sets up an umbrella so shepard’s only pink the next morning instead of as red as mars and twice as hot.

and shepard dreams, but they’re shepard’s dreams. and then shepard wakes up, and it’s even better than dreaming.

well, except for the krogan spit-up in kaidan’s hair

which hopefully he won’t notice

This is fantastic,hilariously accurate and it made me so happy that Shep is addressed in a gender-neutral way, so I can imagine both mShep and femShep there.

I’m sad for TZ and her current state, I hope she’ll get better soon. Her weird pose is what I sometimes do when feeling unhappy, except my legs are much shorter and thicker, heh.

When not neck-deep in cramming, I’m burying myself in everything horror genre has to offer to drown out my bad feelings. And after playing The Path (which is on sale now on Steam!) I got interested in different takes on Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. I’m currently poking at the idea of it centered around a boy (Scarlet Snow Hood, haha) and his wolves as societal expectations and pressures.

Troll gods colour refs for Terezi and Aradia. Trying to outsmart my art rut by bypassing it through something that doesn’t require precision nor quality, just slobbering messy flats on an old pencil sketch.

Anyone wants to finish my sketches, linearts and paintings for me? I’m cramming hardcore everyday and that leaves me wiped and unable to produce any decent finished art when I finally have time for that at night. The sheer amount of my wips is crazy…

I only wanted to make some simple scribbles I could use for re-learning watercolours, it seems there was some slip of a hand.

Karkat gave up on trying to pick only one moirail. It didn’t discourage Gamzee and Kanaya from their competition for exclusivity, but at least they stopped trying to kill each other after he threatened he’ll ditch them for Eridan. Terezi, Aradia and Dave, on the other hand, are disgustingly pale all the time and sometimes send Karkat explicitly pale pictures with invites to join them.

Sloppy painterly vent art with Karkat is an old practice of mine. This one is roughly a week old and if my hand wasn’t in so much pain, I’d be spitting out another one right now, bluh.

Super special commission for my favourite ex, an UFO: Enemy Unknown themed b-day present for her father. He loves that game and he also likes gingers.

Oof, this is the monster that’s been eating all my evenings recently. Ex loved it, but can’t help but feel awkward, it’s obvious I need to practice. A lot. Even if I do have the weak excuse of a radically shortened deadline here.
