Why did you choose law ?

Oh my, that’s a complicated one! What brought that up, if I may ask?

Shorter answer: I’m rather fond of law, I like order, I had the brains, I had the will… and I wanted to be a lawyer since I was a kiddo.

Long answer: All of the above + practicality + family background. I grew up in a family full of misogynists and despotic aggresive men and after seeing the way my mother was treated I swore to myself that I’ll never ever let myself be financialy dependent on another person. That meant choosing a career that would make me capable of supporting myself and one or two children. Thus options like religious studies, theology, english, german or art got ruled out and law won.

To be honest, law was no.2 in my fav list, right after religious studies. And I’m happy with my choice, I like what I study (except few subjects that just SUCK imo *stabs financial law*).
